Back to back cruising

Back to back cruising

If you're staying on board as you have two or more cruises booked back to back, here's a handy guide on what you need to know.

Exploring during turnaround
  • Guests can use shuttle buses to local train stations to explore the departure port and surrounding areas.
  • Please check with the Guest Services Team on board for costs and availability.
Temporary disembarkation
  • In some cases, guests may need to leave the ship briefly while preparations are made for new arrivals.
  • If this applies, an announcement will be made during disembarkation.
Staying on board
  • Guests may be able to remain on board and enjoy the ship’s facilities during turnaround.
  • Some facilities may be limited; details will be shared via announcements or in the Daily Times before disembarkation.
Changing cabins
  • If you are moving to a different cabin, please inform Guest Services if you need assistance.
On board account
  • Your on board account must be settled between cruises.
  • This will be completed automatically.
Back to back positioning cruise
  1. If you are on a back to back positioning cruise and were charged £20 per person at the time of making the booking, for a three course lunch with afternoon tea, the £20 per person charge will be refunded to your on board account. Please note that there will be no other on board services available to guests on the positioning day between cruises. You may be required to disembark the ship due to operational or security reasons. There will be no transport or compensation offered to guests in this instance.  Guests will be responsible for making their way to the embarkation port.
Safety video
  1. All guests staying on for the next cruise will need to watch the safety video and muster at their lifeboat station during embarkation of each cruise.
Questions?
  • For any queries about back-to-back cruising procedures, please speak to the Guest Services Team on board.
