What happens next? A timeline to stepping on board

  2. Here’s a quick timeline of what to expect between booking and stepping on board.

Around 12 weeks before embarkation:
  1. We'll send a copy of your Journey Guide.
    1. By email as soon as it's ready
    2. Followed by sending a copy in the post
  2. This lets you know about all of the tours & excursions available on your cruise, as well as events taking place on board.
  3. Tours and excursions will be bookable as soon as we email you the Journey Guide via your online My Cruises account. 

90 days before embarkation
  1. Your final balance is due 
    1. If you booked via a Travel Agent, dates may vary, please see below for more information
3 weeks before embarkation:
  1. Your cruise ticket will be sent to you, so long as you've provided your Passport and emergency contact details
  2. If you booked directly, we'll send your cruise ticket by e-mail if we have your email address, otherwise we'll pop it in the post
  3. If you booked via a Travel Agent, they'll send your cruise ticket to you
2 weeks before embarkation
  1. Your luggage labels will arrive via post.
Passport & Emergency contact details are required for all guests
If you haven’t already, please provide this information for each guest at least 8 weeks before your embarkation date. Without it, we'll be unable to issue your cruise ticket or luggage labels.
  1. If you haven't provided your Passport details by 16 weeks prior to your cruise, we'll pop you an email reminder.
  2. You can add your Passport details safely and securely 24/7 via your My Cruises account

Balance Due Dates:
  1. For cruises under 28 days:
    1. Final balance is due 90 days before embarkation
  2. For cruises of 28 days or longer:
    1. A second deposit of 15% is due 180 days before embarkation
  3. Booking less than 90 days before departure?
    1. The full balance will be due at time of booking
  4. Booked via a Travel Agent?
    1. Please refer to the payment schedule provided in your documentation, as payments will be made directly to them and at earlier dates.
How to pay your balance?
  1. If you booked directly with us, you can pay safely & securely 24/7 via your My Cruises account
  2. If you booked via a travel agent, you'll pay them as per the provided payment schedule
