The Port of Tyne serves Newcastle and the surrounding areas. Newcastle is an historic city with Roman origins and perhaps is now best known as being the birthplace of the railways and the bakery chain Greggs, along side it's 7 bridges spanning the Tyne.

Arriving by Car

  4. Porters are available to take your luggage from the car park to the terminal
  5. Wheelchair assistance is not provided within the car park itself
Arriving by Train
  1. Newcastle Central Station is around 30 minutes by taxi
  2. When you walk outside you'll find a taxi rank
  3. Or you can take the famous Metro from Central Station to Percy Main, then short taxi ride away or around a 20‑minute walk.

 Arriving by Air
  1. Newcastle International Airport is around a 35 minute taxi ride away from the port
  2. The Metro connects the airport to the city centre, with an journey onward needed to Percy Main, a short taxi ride away or around a 20‑minute walk to the port
