The Port of Liverpool

The Liverpool Cruise Terminal is centrally located and is a floating structure on the River Mersey. It provides direct access to the UNESCO World Heritage Waterfront with major attractions such as The Beatles Story. The Albert Dock just being a short walk away. Liverpool also boasts the UK's largest cathedral and more museums than any UK city outside London!

Cruise Terminal 
  • Official name: Liverpool Cruise Terminal
  • Address: Princes Parade, Liverpool, L3 1DL 
  • Location: On the River Mersey at Pier Head, directly by the Liver Building and city centre 
  • A Linkspan is a floating pontoon is used at Liverpool. This can be very steep if the tide is low at embarkation or disembarkation. For this reason, the Port of Liverpool offer a mobility bus from the cruise terminal to the gangway (or gangway to cruise terminal) for guests who are unable to manage the Linkspan. 

Arriving by Car
  • The Sat Nav postcode for the cruise terminal is : L3 1DL 
  • Parking is made directly with Cruise Parking Services (CPS). To book parking, please contact CPS on 0345 071 3939 or on their website: cruiseparking.co.uk
  • When parking at CPS Liverpool, please follow the signage for Fred. Olsen Cruise Line parking. On arrival, porters will assist with your luggage and transfer you to the terminal building by shuttle bus.
  • Please be aware that the CPS car park is located in the central reservation (middle) of the road, so follow directions carefully when approaching.
  • Kindly note that there are no electric vehicle charging points available at CPS Liverpool.
 Arriving by Train
  • Liverpool Lime Street (mainline) station is just a 5-10 mins taxi ride or a 20 mins walk.
 Arriving by Air
  • Liverpool John Lennon Airport is around a 20 minute taxi ride to the port.
  • Manchester Airport: is around 1 hour direct train journey to Liverpool Lime Street station.
