The port of Southampton

Southampton is perhaps the UKs best known cruise terminal. Located on the South Coast in the county of Hampshire, it has a rich maritime history, from being the most famous departure port of the Titanic to being the birthplace of the legendary Spitfire (and indeed the fish finger!!).

Arriving by Car
  1. For cark parking information, click here
  2. Once booked, you'll be sent the details you need by AB Parking
  3. Upon arrival, team will direct you to the correct car park
  4. They'll collect your luggage allowing you to head straight to check-in
  5. The terminal will be a short walk from the car park
Arriving by Train
  1. Southampton Central Station is located just a few minutes from the port.
  2. When you walk outside of the station, you'll find a taxi rank.
  3. Whilst many taxis do accept card payments, we do recommend having cash with you.
Arriving by Air
  1. Southampton Airport is aorund 5 miles from the port
  2. A taxi ride will take between 10 to 30 minutes
  3. Trains to Southampton Central Station take around 10 minutes, with a taxi journey from there to the port needed
  4. Local bus services are available which could take up to an hour

Arriving by other Public Transport
  1. There are 5 Cruise Terminals that we use
  2. We'll let you know which one on your Cruise ticket (sent 3 weeks before embarkation day)
  3. We'll send you a text the day before check-in (if you've provided a mobile number), with the cruise terminal & postcode.

QEII Cruise Terminal - Dock Gate 4, Test Road, Eastern Docks, SO14 3GG (shown as Q on the map below)

Horizon Cruise Terminal - Dock Gate 10, West Bay Road, Western Docks, SO15 1AW (shown as H on the map below)

Mayflower Cruise Terminal - Dock Gate 20, Herbert Walker Avenue, Western Docks, SO15 1HJ (shown as M on the map below)

Ocean Cruise Terminal - Dock Gate 4, Cunard Road, Eastern Docks, SO14 3QN (shown as O on the map below)

City Cruise Terminal - Dock Gate 8, Solent Road, Western Docks, SO15 1HJ (shown as C on the map below)
