Why are we making this change?
We know how much this cruise
means to you, and we’re sorry if the changes feel disappointing.
We only make adjustments to
our itineraries when necessary. These decisions are always guided by the latest
local advice from our trusted partners on the ground, with one priority in
mind, delivering the best possible experience for you.
What’s changed?
Our planned visits to Kalamata
and Tangier will now be replaced with calls to:
Valletta
Cartagena &
Gibraltar
These changes allow us to visit five different countries
in just eleven nights, adding even more variety and opportunities for
discovery.
Why have we chosen these
destinations?
Valletta is
Malta’s beautiful capital, rich in history, culture and character. This compact
UNESCO World Heritage city is known for its striking architecture, grand
fortifications and elegant streets, all set against the impressive backdrop of
the Grand Harbour. From historic landmarks and museums to waterfront cafés,
Valletta offers plenty to enjoy at a relaxed and rewarding pace.
Cartagena is a historic port
city in southeastern Spain, renowned for its rich three‑thousand‑year history.
With well‑preserved Roman ruins, ancient city walls and a lively maritime
atmosphere, it offers a fascinating blend of heritage, culture and seaside
charm.
Gibraltar is a truly distinctive
destination, best known for the iconic Rock of Gibraltar rising dramatically
above the coastline. With its mix of British and Mediterranean influences,
centuries of history, impressive fortifications and sweeping sea views, it offers
a memorable place to explore.

A few helpful reminders:
- Your Journey Guide, including details of
tours, experiences and your cruise, will be sent at least twelve weeks
before you embark Balmoral.
- Your cruise ticket will be sent three
weeks before your check‑in day.
- Your luggage labels will follow shortly
after, arriving by post approximately two weeks before you set sail.
