1. The number of formal nights on your cruise will vary by the number of nights you're on board
   
2. Below is a handy table with a guide to your formal nights
   
3. Details of your formal nights will be provided on your cruise ticket, sent around three weeks before you embark

Number of nights on board	Formal nights
3 nights or less	None
3-4 nights	No formal night however, there is a Captain's Welcome Party
5-6 nights	x1 formal night which is normally the Captain's Welcome Party
7-12 nights	x2 formal nights. 1st formal night is normally the Captain's Welcome party. The 2nd formal night is normally the Captain's Farewell Party
13 - 20 nights	x3 formal nights plus a Captain's Welcome Party
22 nights and more	x1 formal night per week plus a Captain's Welcome Party
