Can I go ashore independently?

Can I go ashore independently?

Independent exploration
  1. You’re free to explore most ports on your own once the ship has been cleared by customs and immigration.
  2. Your cruise fare includes all port taxes and charges, so you can get on and off the ship as often as you like while in port.
  3. In some destinations, independent exploration may not be permitted due to local regulations or visa requirements — we’ll let you know in advance if this applies.
Shuttle services
  1. If the ship is berthed some distance from the town centre, we often provide a shuttle bus service to help you get around easily and affordably.
  2. All key information will be shared in your Daily Times and via announcements on board.
Journey guides
  1. You’ll receive a printed Journey Guide for each port, packed with:
    1. Top attractions
    2. Local tips
    3. Helpful advice to make the most of your time ashore
Organised shore tours
  1. While exploring independently is a great way to soak up local culture, our organised tours are specially designed to help you see the very best of each destination. Our Destination Experiences Team is always happy to help with recommendations or bookings.
  2. Call: 01473 292 444 (option 2)
    Available: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
Alert
Please note: The ship cannot wait for guests who return late from independent tours or transport
