T2623 - Update to Your Itinerary

We’re looking forward to welcoming you on board Bolette for your Scenic Coastlines of the British Isles cruise later this year.

We’re writing to let you know about a small change to your itinerary and share everything you need to know.

What’s changing?
Instead of visiting Portree 18th September, we’ll now be calling at Tobermory.
There are no other changes to your itinerary.

Why have we made this change?
We’ve recently been advised of significant construction works at the landing area in Portree. Unfortunately, this would affect the tendering arrangements and limit the experience we could offer when going ashore, both for independent exploration and organised shore excursions.

Our priority is always your experience which is why we’ve taken the decision to make this change.

Why Tobermory?
Tobermory is the colourful and charming capital of the Isle of Mull, instantly recognisable for its brightly painted houses lining the waterfront. Set against a backdrop of dramatic landscapes, the town offers beautiful harbour views and a welcoming atmosphere.

Once ashore, you’ll find a lively waterfront with a great selection of independent shops, cafés and local eateries, perfect for a gentle stroll and soaking up island life.

Fun fact: Tobermory is the setting for the much‑loved children’s TV series Balamory, which has recently returned to CBBC. You may recognise the famous colourful houses if you have children who grew up watching the show, or young grandchildren enjoying it today.

Please note: Tobermory is a tender port (as was Portree), meaning we’ll anchor offshore and use our tender boats to transfer you ashore.
