We’re looking forward to welcoming you on board Balmoral for your Wonders of Iceland with the Solar Eclipse cruise.
To help you prepare for embarkation day, we’ve included everything you need to know about your coach transfer from the Port of Tyne to Rosyth.
Your transfer is arranged for Thursday, 6 August.
Your journey
· The journey to Rosyth will take approximately 4 hours
· All coaches are fitted with toilet facilities
· A comfort stop will be made approximately halfway through the journey
Departure information
· Our team will be on hand to direct you to a coach when you arrive at the port
· Coaches will depart from the Port of Tyne International Passenger Terminal, (we’ve popped the address below)
· Please arrive no earlier than 08:15
· Coaches will depart promptly at 08:30 and 09:00
· Coaches will be dispatched as they fill, so please board as directed by our team
Luggage
Please ensure every piece of luggage has a luggage label securely attached before you arrive at the Port of Tyne
On arrival in Rosyth
Before you arrive, please have the following ready for check-in:
· Your passport(s)
· The debit or credit card you wish to register to your onboard account (please note that American Express is not accepted)
· Your cruise ticket (printed or digital)
· Our team will be on hand to welcome you and guide you through the check-in process.
Good to know
As part of your cruise experience, we'll be providing protective eclipse glasses so you can safely enjoy viewing the solar eclipse.

Before you travel
· Your Cruise Ticket will be sent approximately three weeks before embarkation
· By email if we have your email address (otherwise in the post)
· If you booked with a Travel Agent, they’ll send this to you
· Your luggage labels will be sent by post approximately two weeks before you set sail
