What does a Tender Port mean?

What does a Tender Port mean?

  1. A tender port* is where the ship remains at anchor offshore rather than docking at a pier.
  1. What is a tender boat? To take guests between the ship and shore, we use small tender boats (same as a ships lifeboat), which run at regular intervals throughout the visit.
  1. On your cruise itinerary, a tender port is marked with a small anchor icon. You’ll also find this information in the My Cruises app, on our Website and in your Journey Guide, which is sent 12 weeks before your departure.
*Tender Ports are subject to change.
