Whilst your embarkation day may be a little way off, we wanted to reach out with an important update regarding visa requirements for Algeria, allowing you plenty of time to plan ahead.

As we mentioned previously, we're still arranging the visa on your behalf, and this remains unchanged.

However, since our last update, the local authorities in Algeria have informed us of the following requirement - only guests booked on Fred. Olsen pre-arranged shore tours or excursions will be permitted to disembark. 

If you do not book a Fred. Olsen shore tour or excursion, we're sorry to say you won't be able to go ashore to explore independently.

We're sorry for any disappointment this causes.

If you'd like to book a tour or excursion with us, your Journey Guide will be arriving on your doormat in the coming weeks, with full details of your cruise and the shore tours available for Algeria and all destination on your itinerary.

Sorry once again, sadly we're not able to change the requirements of the local authorities and have to follow their wishes.

Despite this change, this is an incredible itinerary and we're looking forward to welcoming you aboard.
