Accessibility at Port of Rosyth

Car Parking
  1. Booking: Must be arranged directly with us at the time of booking.
  2. Details Required:
    1. Registration number and car make.
    2. If you hold a blue badge.
Embarkation
  1. Guests park in an off-site car park (approx. 1 mile from the port).
  2. Luggage is collected at the car park.
  3. Guests take a shuttle bus to the terminal for check-in.
  4. Drop-off Guests: Can be dropped off directly at the port.
Terminal Amenities
  1. Limited seating; guests should arrive close to their check-in time.
  2. Water machine and toilets available in the entrance area.
  3. No café or refreshment options.
Check-in
  1. Assistance is provided from inside the check-in area - which is after guests have gone through security first.
  2. Own Wheelchair: Guests will make their way through check in and will need to walk to the desk for a mobility assessment. Once cleared, they can return to the wheelchair and are pushed through security to the shuttle bus only.
  3. Shuttle Bus: All buses are equipped with ramps and lowering mechanisms for wheelchairs and scooters.
Disembarkation
  1. No wheelchair assistance is provided due to the baggage hall being directly off the gangway.
  2. Guests returning to the car park will have their luggage transported there by port staff via a baggage truck.
  3. Guests can either get a shuttle bus or they can walk to the terminal to collect luggage.
